Single Stack 40 for Carry
What are my options for a thin concealable IWB 40SW?

All I got is
Sig 239 - although it's Single stack, it's not necessarily thin
Walther PPS
Springfield EMP 40/r anyother singlestack sub compact 1911 in 40
Kahr has several 40s single stack

Anything else I am missing?

Find yourself a S&W 4013. Sweet piece of gun work. Thin, so it conceals easy. Alloy frame, so its not too heavy to carry all day. Reliable and accurate, in case you actually have to use it. Not made any more, but can be found at gun shows or on the boards.

You can rarely find a 1911 in a .40. I'm thinking bookoo bucks however. One option though.

Would definately fit the thin bill.

SInce the Dan Wesson 1911 is available in
.40 S&W - check to see DW offers a Commander
version. Better yet, if DW offers an Officers frame
with the Commander slide/barrel len. there yah go.

Checked DW models, and they only make a full size 1911/.45 S&W.

The DW CCO is .45 ACP only.

FWIW
The DW Bobtail Commander is available in 10MM Auto

Early Colt Defenders were available in .40, unfortunately they have become collectors items. STI lists several full size or commander size single stacks available in .40.

Taurus makes some of the smallest compacts ive ever seen,my new PT745 is the smallest compact .45 i could find.
Mine is a single stack 6+1,but they make a double.
The .40 model is the PT140 and is usually found for around $350.
What i like is the .45 is the same size as the 9mm and .40 and they are all small.
Kahr makes a few about that size, but lack a manual saftey wich i required. They cost a bit more, but i like the feel of the Taurus better.
BTW they are DA/SA wich is great if you prefer no manual saftey you can use the DA on the first shot.
