Subject pretty much says it all.

So far only winchester will work for me.

PMC is totally useless, as is all the Phillipino ammo. So I'm going to stick to american brands only from now on.

The Federal is a bit more resonable in price, how does everyone find that?

I prefer the Federal 550 packs for general shooting. CCI Green Tag for more serious shooting. CCI SGB for small game.

I absolutely despise the Remington Golden Bullet 500 packs, too many misfires and inconsistency.

Our Buckmark does very well with Federal Champion at ~$7/500 from Academy.

No troubles either with Remington Golden Bullet bulk pak, Remington Thunderbolt, or Winchester Wildcat either.

Expect a few duds or mis-shapened (feed failures) rounds per thousand of the cheapo ammo.

Buckmark

I have not found anything that won't run well in my Buckmark. At present I am using Aguila and Wolf MT. Had the most misfires,(duds) with Federal Champion.

Every .22 pistol is different, including those of the same make and model. I've experimented with about 25 different types in my Buckmark, and the two best so far are Federal bulk-pack and Winchester Dyna-Points. Get a bunch of different makers and loads and have a ball.
