Yeah. That is the reason for this thread, i am looking for things that the major manufactures can't/won't make, or charge too much for. I will "work around" them till (if) i get big enough to directly compete with them.I guess what I am getting at is there are long standing ammo manufactures that have tremendous economy of scale advantage over you so they have the ability to make the ammo cheaper already. Unless you are only going to deal locally it is going to be hard to go up against that kind of might.

I have been wanting the same thing, they have one for the .22WMR, so why not the .22lr? but i can't make stuff like that, don't have the machiines.With the neat bullets that Hornady is making for .17 HMR and M2 rimfire rifles, I would like to see the same style bullet in .22 LR.
How about hornadys new flex tip made for the .450 bushy, ballistic equiliant.I would think it would take a very specific bullet construction to make it work for HD.
