EDC gear

Gun:

- Either an H&K P7PSP in a strongside IWB holster or a S&W 340PD in a pocket holster. Seems like I've been carrying the 340 a lot lately. Spare ammo - P7: OWB single pouch, 340: speed strip in weak front pocket.

Stuff:

- I like to keep the weight off of me so I use a Galco small fanny pack to haul most of it around. Since its built for a gun, it can take the weight. Usually carry it slung over my shoulder like a "male purse" that it is. In it are:

- Maui Jim sunglasses and case
- Motorola V60 phone
- Leatherman Wave
- Chris Reeve small Sebenza in horizontal pouch mounted on the waist strap (easy to get at when slung on shoulder)
- Surefire 6P (needs upgrading to a 2e or an Aviator model)
- mini-BIC lighter and spare cell battery
- Keys with pepper spray and photon light attached
- Wallet, lip balm, change, etc.

Right front pocket - Nail clippers, lucky coins (2) and Leatherman Micra, & a Kershaw Ken-Onion "Chive" clipped into the top of it...

Watch Pocket - Tool-Logic knife/LED light combo clipped into it... (OR occasionally a D-32 .32 ACP Derringer, when I wish to carry a spare)

Belt, between front right and rear right pockets - leather case W/ Leatherman and Blue-Boint 4" crescent wrench in it, Gerber Gator Mate in it's Cordura case, and a Galco Jak Slide belt holster, W/ a Beretta Mini-Cougar 8040F in it, W/ the barrel stuck into the top of the rear pocket (aimed @ top of the wallet!)

Right Rear pocket - Wallet & cheapie disposable pen

Left rear Pocket - "card" wallet W/ Drivers License, CCW Permit, and "handgun registration cards" in it, and a paper towel (snotrag)

Left front pocket - spare change, and whatever else I might be lugging around... (sometimes a spare mag or 2...)

To and from work and any places in between: A SA 1911 gov't model in a BladeTech IWB at 4:00, coupled with Wilson mag weak side in a BT single mag carrier. It is set on a leather belt from Rafters.

At work: An HK40c LEM in a low rize level one Don Hum jacket loop holster, coupled with too much other stuff to list, all on a Don Hume River Belt over a velcro closing leather belt whci is also from Hume.

Two spare 15 round magazines in g-code mag carrier.
p-32 in left front pocket
benchmade griptillian clipped to right front pocket.
Benchmade 710 clipped to right back pocket.
juice c2 in right front pocket
zebra pen and keys with yellow photon and squirt in right front pocket
surefire e2 and arc AAA flashlight in left rear pocket.
Pocket First aid kit inside altoids tin and pack of gum in cargo pockets.

well, even though I'm surrounded by weapons all day (hammers, scrapers, heavy machinery, grinders, saws, knives, etc...) I can't carry at work. even if I could, it gets pretty messy working with fiberglas (I make prototype cars for Diamler-Chrysler). that said...

Off Duty, G19 at the 9 o'clock position IWB riding in a Comp-Tac Undercover Pro. Spare 15 round mag riding in a Bianchi mag holder at the 4 o'clock position right next to the cell phone. Left rear pocket is a folding knife and right rear is the ole wallet.

For some reason I find this thread really interesting.

Me?

Front pocket - Bronze color shiny lipstick. My all time favorite color lipstick ever. I'd tell you the exact name, but still refuse to carry those bifocals I need to read the ultra-small 3 point type on the bottom label. Browning Ice Storm knife, gold color, well used, very attached to it (I won it for a soap carving).

Other front pocket - Kleenex in various stages of use. Cell phone, unless I'm feeling fat that day, in which case it will go in the camo backpack. Set on "vibrate" just for fun.... only thing that makes telemarketers tolerable.

Back pocket - Wallet in Mossy Oak Break-Up pattern leather (this is to make it invisible to pickpockets). Contains three credit cards and a hunting license. Money? Are you kidding? Assorted small items depending on the day, usually .22 cartridges, that 12 ga shell I just couldn't stand to waste, car wash tokens, earplugs, pony tail bands.

Carry gun - Browning Hi-Power 9mm, Galco leather holster, belt and mag carrier, all black. Switch to the Bianchi set in rich brown when I need to color-coordinate.

If I have more stuff than this, I have a Browning camo backpack with a Camelbak hydration bladder that I'll sling over my shoulder. Or the gun goes in there if it's too hot to wear enough cover. But mostly it's just me and the contents of my pockets.

I hate purses.

OH! DANG! I didn't mention the keys. That's cause I've usually lost them or left them in a bathroom, on a desk, hanging from my nose or whatever, and don't find them again until it's time to get in the car and go somewhere.

Pilot P-700 pen in shirt pocket
Mini-Maglite in cargo pocket of my 5.11 pants, strictly for emergency kubaton-I mean flashlight-purposes.

Out of school:
Add a Kershaw Blackout to my right pant pocket (or sometimes IWB).
