What Caliber should my next Hunting rifle be?

As mentioned, if you truly don't have a rimfire, then by all means, you should get a .22lr, .22 mag, and .17 hummer before anything else, IMO.

But I suppose a .243 or .25-06 would fill a void there; maybe even 6.5x55 swede. I'd go with the .243 win myself.

.22 Hornet could also prove useful if you need to make a little less racket dispatching varmints.
