Also a 12 gauge shotgun using 00 buckshot, and a Hoyt Compound bow.
Of all of those rifle calibers, none stood out as head and shoulders better than any of the other. Performance through the years has been strikingly similar in most cases, I wouldn't turn around for the difference in any of them.

375 H&H does less damage to a deer than a .270 Win because of its moderate velocity.

Just by looking at the list so far, apparently every caliber is capable of taking deer and has been used from .22lr to .375 H&H including cars,trucks, and arrows.
It is funny that which caliber for deer is debated and argued frequently, when it looks like whatever you have will work assuming it is legal in your area and you are proficient enough with it.

I haven't seen anyone post they have killed a deer with a spear yet though.

This is officially my favorite reply in this thread! I've taken one with a Chevy Colorado and another with a Toyota Corolla. My wife also took a nice buck with her brand new 2003 Corolla on the way home from buying it off the dealer's lot! The car had 41 miles on it!

I started totaling up (as best as I can remember over almost 25 years) and it occurred to me that I've taken almost as many deer with a 50 cal muzzle loader than with all my centerfire guns combined. Kentucky has an early two day ML hunt in October and I often take one then, and I often take a doe during the weeklong December regular ML season.

I've hit a bunch of deer with various vehicles but I never found any bodies so they may or may not have died:

1. Schwinn Super Sport 10 speed. That hurt (concussion and broken clavicle)

2. Chevy Blazer

3. Chevy Impala ($1,300 damage back in the 80s)

4. Chevy Suburban

5. Cadillac Deville

I may have forgotten some.

Since they didn't necessarily die, I should probably use something bigger next time.

This is a fallacy. Vehicle placement is much more critical than the size of the vehicle.

I have killed deer with a Nissan. A 4 pointer came off a hill at a dead run and totalled my truck. The driver behind me gave me a lift and when I came back an hour later the deer had been picked up. I guess someone needed venison REALLY badly.

I think I am the only one to answer the question correctly, I don`t believe cars & trucks are CALIBERS nor are arrows.......Well I guess the OP should have just said (What have you taken deer with?) Then we all could have said anything, cars, trucks, bows & arrows, rock, get my drift, you know just saying...........
