This is some Korean Military M2 30-06 Brass, Boxer primed, from a couple of cases I bought some time ago. OK, here are some questions for the knowledge brokers here: Has anyone reloaded it before? Any issues to be aware of? Any problems - too brittle, too soft, etc...?

I fired them out of my Garand, M1917, and M1903 - IIRC.
Thanks!

All I remember is the PS headstamp was considered "Probably Safe" as for not being corrosive. Don't remember reading anything about reloading worries.

Poongsan Metal Manufacturing Company Ltd

Same company uses the PSD headstamp and currently sells under ther PMC brand.

The quality of the brass is quite good however the flash holes are rarely centered so it's not my first choice when producing ammo for a precision rifle.
I use it quite often in .223 for my AR-15

My rifle likes the Greek stuff "HXP" & it loads good & lives quite comfortably with my low pressure lead boolit loads !!

I size ,trim ,clean primer pockets , then use a rcbs chamfer tool to cut the crimp out , makes priming a snap!!

All, thanks for the replies.
I had noticed the crimped primers. Right now I have about 70 of them ready to reload that I'll start working on. The bulk of the ammo is still in the original ammo cans as bought/delivered.

On the HXP I have a handful of that brass as well and a couple of the CMP spam cans on the shelf.

Thanks,
EM

WARNING! Clean that brass in a soapy water solution soon after shooting or scrap it. I've got some PS/75 headstamp ammo that I was assured was non-corrosive. That;s what I was shooting when I busted an ankle in a pasture poodle hole and left my rifle cleaning go a couple of months till I got me and the rifle all back to the same place for cleaning. My bbl was all kinds of fuzzy with brownish/red rust. I know it was PS/75 and just went and took a peek at it. After shooting it, clean your bbl with something known to cut corrosives such as Ballistol cut 50/50 with water. And stay away from friggin prairie dog holes- them sucks too!

edit: Mine came in 440rnd ammo can on enblock clips for garands.

USSR- I did take a look at it. I often do when I think about my frosted & maybe slightly pitted bbl! When I bought the can at a gunshow- I asked the guy specifically if it was the PS headstamp because I'd read at J&G Sales that KA was corrosive and PS was not supposed to be.

Honestly, I'm not trying to blow smoke up your tailpipe- but that stuff rusted and fluffed up in my bbl in the exact same way I'd seen a Yugo Mauser do when fired with Turk ammo and not cleaned. That was not my doing, but a RN I work with that asked me to take a look. For whatever reason- my batch of PS/75 IS corrosive! I have no KA headstmps anywhere in my brass or loaded stockpiles.

Edit: I just checked the ammo can and it is Lot Number PS-2-178.
