Hope you don't get tired of these questions, but I haven't a clue what would have caused these lines on the neck and upper portion of this .308 brass. If I were to guess, I'd guess it was fired in a machine gun or this brass was used for blanks. The photo may not show it clearly, but these are not just powder marks, the brass actually has fine lines embedded in the brass. This brass was given to me and was already primed and resized when I received it. There were also some pieces that looked like they had been reloaded and fired (the auto dent was pushed out) so it appears safe to use but then again thought I would check with you all first. Any ideas?
