I didn't get out on mother's day. I sprained my knee the night before, and it was rainy Sunday. However, I usually shoot SOMETHING on Sunday afternoon.
I spent some time a few evenings ago with my Hatsun 95.
Please note the "pellet pen" in the following picture
I bought it from Amazon.com.
It holds pellets ready and oriented to push into the chamber. I dont remember exactly how many...? Maybe 15. I highly recommend it. Its pretty inexpensive too. If you had a couple of them, you would be ready for a trip to the range, or squirrel woods.
The new Hawke scope is excellent! Extremely clear! Thanks for the recommendation @LoonWulf and others. Money well spent!
I have yet to determine what ammo my rifle prefers. I will get a nice group going, and then comes a flier. All in all, I think the Hatsun is a nice rifle.
