Spanish Mauser in .308 w/ 115 grain BB hard cast bullet , and a little Unique . Fun to shoot at 50 yards , recoil feels about like a 22 magnum .

Not today, but Saturday , numerous 45 ACP in several pistols and .357 and 38 special in the new Python.

It was a good day at a son's rural home in Western Mn. Three sons, a Grandson who just turned 12 and his friend @ 15years of age.

We all have not been together for three years, it was a blast!!!
A big plus was to see my Grandson so much improved in his ability!!!

And the fifteen year old had shot rifles and shotguns before but never a handgun.
He shot a Sig Sauer and a Kimber in 45 acp and the Colt Python well after instructions.

Fun had by all!!! :)

My Remington 1944 M1903-A3, using some surplus M2 ball from Lake City ammo plant, head-stamped 1942. Two out of 20 failed to fire on the first primer strike, fired on cocking & repeat. Great fun. All part of the game. :D

Shot my EDC today (Sig 365XL Romeo Zero). That thing is crazy, silly, stupid, accurate! Was having serious vision problems + my handgun shooting got horrible. Picked up this Sig with the factory installed red dot + it hits paper (8X11) all day at 25yds. So impressed, I put a Holosun 407 on my Ruger Sec 9. Think I like the Holosun slightly better than the Romeo Zero. But, the Sig still outshoots the Ruger at 25 yds.

I actually shot my Pedersoli trapdo6or carbine for the first time yesterday.

I shot 20 rds of HHM (?) cowboy loads. My shoulder was a bit tender today.

Went squirrel hunting today and shot nothing. But I did go to my club's range day before yesterday and took the sporterized Swedish Mauser, the T/C Encore rifle in 7mm-08, and the Marlin 30-30. Along with the Redhawk 44 Mag. & Blackhawk 357 Mag. Zero testing, load testing, & general practice. Still fine tuning the 30-30 and trying some different loads since it got a recent scope swap for something with an illuminated reticle, which is a first for me. Here's the 30-30 pointed downrange shortly after I arrived about 8:30... IMG_2605.JPG ..Had the whole place to myself until I left about 2 PM. Don't get much better than that.

Got to the range right at opening and tried a couple of new loads in my Zastava M70 in 7mm-08 which I just mounted a new Leupold scope to. Using 139gr Hornady Interlock and 39-41 gr of Varget. Working up an elk load for my niece who I'm taking with me in 2023. Gotta give her a good rifle, a good load and plenty of time to practice!

Yesterday I shot my 870 Wingmaster 12ga and I got the chance to shoot an old Remington 1100 in 20ga and a Winchester 1200. I think I found a clear winner between the two 12ga's. The Remington win hands down. The 1100 was very nice, tempting to buy but it was very small and my wife didn't shoot it all that well.

Shot M1 Garand today. No pics. Sorry, don't do smartphone. Just have to trust me, I guess. Kind of out-of-date with current technology, I suppose. Was born either too early or too late to either accept or reject it.
