Hi...
My son and I spent yesterday at the two local gun clubs where we have memberships.
Started the morning off at one club to shoot some rifles. I shot my custom Sako .308, my son's Remington 700BDL in .270 and my AR15 in .223Wlyde. My son shot the same .270, his Tikka .308 and one of his AR15s in .223.
Accuracy shooting was pretty much what it has always been with the rifles we shot. Groups(5shots) hovered around 1" size wise at 100yds. My first groups were shot at 50yds and all three rifles left five shot groups with all bullet holes touching. I only shot a few groups with each rifle before the recoil caused the arthritis in my neck to flare up to the point that it was too distracting to shoot as well as I know the rifles can shoot.
My son and I both managed to ring the steel plates at 200yds consistently...my son more so than I.
We took a break to go eat lunch and then drove to another gun club to shoot handguns.
I shot about 50 rounds through my new to me three screw BlackHawk in .357Magnum.
Accuracy was fairly decent but the sights will require some adjustments to make consistent hits at 25yds. We will make those adjustments on our next shooting trip when hopefully my arthritis won't cause so much trouble.
I also shot a couple of my .41Magnum revolvers, one of my BlackHawks and my Dan Wesson...mostly just to break some rocks on the 25yd berm.
Also shot a couple of cylinders full of .45Colt through one of my SAA clones just to ring steel plates at 7 and 15yds.
Pretty good day...now I have a bunch of brass to separate, tumble and process. My son has several guns to clean ad well
