I was trying to change calibers on my Dillon 550b and this piece fell out on the floor. I think it is part of the the powder measure assembly. Can anyone tell me where it goes.

Curious what got loosened to let the collar sleeve to come out of the dispenser.

It looks like the small "highest" screw in the linkage would have to be loosened to let that fall freely out of the drop tube. Though, it's a bit too late to want to try that myself. :uhoh:

I thought only the bottom/larger screw/nut had to be loosened if you were changing charge bars

They push up into the powder measure. I have had a few of them fall out. Not a big deal just push it back into place. I think its just a guide of sorts to help prevent wear on the moving part.

When your powder measure quits working after you change powders, you can find that part in the powder jug you cycled the bar into to clear out the last little bit.

Never looked to see why but the seem more likely to drop out with my SD measures that the rest of them.

If it fell out once it will fall out again, have Dillon send you a new one.
