What distance do you usually shoot at?

I shoot at an indoor range. For calibers greater than .22, I shoot at 7 yards and 10 yards. Occasionally, I'll shoot a few at 25 yards just to humble myself. :D

I shoot .22 pistols at 10, 15, and 25 yards.

I shoot the bulk of all my handguns at 15 yrds. If I want to do rapid-fire on a B-27 target, I usually bring it in to the 7 yrd mark. Every now-and-again, I'll shoot 25 yrds. Ten to 15 years ago, I shot at 25 yards, religiously. I always figured it I could shoot accurately at 25 yards, I could definitely shoot, at last as accurately, when at a closer distance.

The club where I shoot has several handgun ranges, both indoor and outdoor. The majority of my time is spent on the 25-50 yard bullseye range, even though I hardly ever shoot using the usual one handed bullseye style. Mostly always shoot from the Weaver stance.

When I feel like airing out my CCW pieces I'll walk over to the PPC range for some fast/close shooting at 7 yards, but this might only be every other month or so as opposed to the several days a week that I visit the bullseye range.

how far?

well, how far back are ya?
I shoot to the effective range of the firearm.
why limit yourself to less than the firearm will permit?
some handguns are just amazingly accurate at distance, some
are not...but, if the gun can and you can...no problem.
