I surf the "dark side"...

:what: of the internet with a glass of good whisky. Guns, babes, whisky, what else do you need? chris3:D

I shoot rubber bullets in the basement. Launched by a primer only. A big bucket full of old rags will stop them. $2 for 100 shots. Need good ventilation though.

One word "AIRSOFT" and Im not necessarily talking about "skirmishing". I caught the airsoft bug a few months ago and ended up with 7 guns(4 springer pistols,2 gas/co2 blowback pistols, & 1 AEG MP5) . Started with the spring guns(cheap and lots of them.have to rack the slide for each shot-the ones I have all shoot different FPS from 265 to 307) two Walther P99's, one Walther P22, & one Beretta 92F. They are fun as hell to shoot and you can practice your grip, draw, & sight uses at the same time inside! I then wanted something more realistic(heavier & moving slide w/is called blowback) so I got two gas/co2 blowback 1911 style pistols. They are all metal and weighs about what a real 1911 does. You only have to rack the slide once per magazine just like a real pistol and after each shot the slide moves like a real pistol although nothing is ejecting. Its basiclly just for fun but it makes the experience alot more realistic. The one I have has a similar feel of recoil as a .25 has. It sounds like a co2 pellet pistol, maybe a little less. I shoot mine in my apartment all the time and you cant hear it outside the door. The two I bought(one for me and one for my old lady who loves them) shoot 325 FPS with 35 round mags. The AEG(rechargable battery powered) gun I have which I got for the hell of it and serves no real training, at least not for me is a all metal MP5 with a folding stock that shoots 385 FPS:evil: with a 250 round magazine. I shoot all day long. In my office out, in the warehouse, at home,etc... and I can honestly say my shooting has improved becuase of Airsoft and its a ball. Plus depending on where you live you can find a "skirmish"(game) and there is no doubt that this is very helpful in many areas. For the most part its not little kids playing either motly 20-40+ year olds.

Order lots of gear in anticipation of when you're able to shoot.

I have an Eotech, some Maxpedition gear, 15 AR mags and some mags for my Sig all on the way, and two .357s on special order at the gunshop. It was a very expensive weekend.

What do you do when you CAN'T SHOOT?
----------------------------------------

Mostly that doesn't happen because I can shoot on my place.

But if I'm not shooting I have a couple aircraft that I can spend some time working on and flying.

Then there's always much more work around the place, that needs doing, then I can find time for.

Reloading ammo is always time well spent.

And I spend too much time on the computer.
