Title says it all: tell us what gun you picture in your mind when you click on a certain subforum.

I'll start us off:
General Gun Discussion- That vault full of guns that gets posted here every now and again

Rifle Country- An AR15

Shotguns- Remington 870 with wood stock

Handguns General: 1911

Handguns Revolvers: Smith and Wesson K Frame of some sort

Handguns Autoloaders: Walther PPK/s

I don't know exactly why these always come to mind for me, but they do. How about you guys?

General Gun Discussion- A bunch of guys in a big circle at the range arguing about how to adjust a scope.
Rifle Country- Garand

Shotguns- Holland and Holland double.

Handguns General: 1911 and a glock barrel to barrel.

Handguns Revolvers: Webley 455 with a weathered lanyard and a lot of character on the finish.

Handguns Autoloaders: 1911

Non-Firearms Weapons: a tomahawk, buck 110, cedar arrowshaft with two blade broadhead, stun gun, and an ironwood staff all in a pile.

I guess I don't just see guns, per se....

General Gun Discussions - The dimly-lit, smoke-filled lounge of THR. Plenty of good conversation, but none of it is too serious.

Legal - Constant bickering, along with research to support the participants' arguements... and I DO mean arguements!

Activism - A few younger folks, along with a few energetic older ones, dreaming up ways to make every law-abiding citizen in the USA a pistol-toting gunnie.

Strategies and Tactics - Endless discussions regarding which shotgun load has the least chance of penetrating interior walls, while still being effective on home invaders who are high on cocaine, and wearing at least 3 heavy leather jackets.

Rallying Point - The gun guys are just hanging out somewhere.

Rifle Country - Picture a farmer with a weather-beaten face riding an old McCormick tractor through his fields... a rifle is suspended in a home-made sling by his side... and an old golden retriever struggles to give chase up the rocky hills. You're in Rifle Country now! Or maybe a cigarette commercial?

Shotguns - A tweedy fellow carrying his engraved O/U on a crisp autumn day.

Handguns: General Discussion - A few folks who just got their carry permits, and comming to the realization that their full size 1911 won't fit in their front shirt pocket.

Handguns: Revolvers - A few older folks, and those of us who are traditionalists, discussing firearms that have never been obsolete.

Handguns: Autoloaders - Mostly mall ninjas asking why their 1911 won't chamber flying ashtrays, and the remainder of the ninjas encouraging them to switch to GLOCKS... after all, 1911s are almost as obsolete as revolvers!

Blackpowder Shooting - Revolvers as long as your arm. Horses and leather! Top hats and boler hats on the men... and those weird prairie dresses that made the women look like they had big butts.

Non-Firearm Weapons - Some pimple-faced 18 year olds discussing which ninja sword they could use to defeat the other ninjas that are using GLOCKS. There are probably a few hardcore martial artists here, too. I don't go here often.

Sounds kinda fun.

General Gun Discussion- I agree, a whole table full of guns during a shoot where everyone is trying out everyone else's.

Rifle Country- FAL (only because my right shoulder is currently sore from shooting my new FAL this weekend)

Shotguns- A nice old Model 12

Handguns General: BHP

Handguns Revolvers: S&W 5 screw

Handguns Autoloaders: 1911

Rifle: U.S. Military M-14 carried by a solider or marine, shouting
"This is my rifle, ____ this is my gun"; this ones for killing, and this ones
for fun"~! :D

Shotguns: Nothing more appealing than a young lad with a couple
of rabbits, and a old side-by-side broke open, lying across his shoulder
on a cold winter's day. ;)

Handguns General: A "How To Project" on a Tauri sidearm~! :barf:

Revolvers: My Most Beloved Handgun Picture Threads

Semi-Auto's: How To Fix A Problem In A 1911 That Don't Exist :uhoh:

and finally:

Handloading: What powder to use in my well worn Colt 1877
Lightning
