If you ship a muzzleloader back to the factory what is needed to ship it? What restrictions apply?

Carry it to Fed Ex or UPS and ship it. You can ship it ground.

Package it really well. Barrels and such can poke through cardboard pretty easily.

You also can send it via the Post Office. +1 on the suggestions on packing.

Muzzle loaders are not regulated under Federal law (this includes the post office).

You can ship it the same way you'd ship a pair of shoes or anything else that's not a "real gun".
