Iv been lookin at some different types of ammo for my defense guns and was thinkin about pow'r ball ammo from cor-bon and was wondering if anyone had tried and what they thought.

Two cents worth:
Their 9X18 ammo made a mess out of wet, stacked newspapers when compared to the average stuff available. There's a noticeable additional kick, too, so I know it's got a little more power than most stuff.

I don't know if it's just me, but I think Corbon makes there ammo just a tad hotter than most manufactuers. I think it's exellent ammo.

I have found that the Corbon pow'r ball for me is not quite as accurate. Penetration would generally be good. No Expansion however. I use All Law Enforcement Ammo for defense. In my 9mm's I really like The Federal HST 124gr+ P. For My .40's I Love the Winchester 180gr Bonded and Federal 180gr HST. In my .45's I use Federal Tactical HST 230gr +P in my 4 inch Barrel's. In my 5 inch I really like the Winchester 230gr Bonded. I cannot say enough good things about the Accuracy, Penetration and Expansion of the Winchester Bonded and Federal HST LE lines of ammo. Perfect weight retention and the Expansion is unreal. You can purchase online. See the link below:)
