Well I've finally done it. I traded my XD .40 SC off. I had to make room in the safe beside my AR so I could get my (new to me) AK in it.

This is my first AK and I'm looking forward to some range time. I know they aren't as accurate as an AR but they sure are cheaper to shoot.

I traded my XD for the AK which is equiped with a Dragunov stock, a UTG rail system foregrip, a verticle foregrip, a red dot scope, the original wood furniture, 4 mags and 120 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammo.

I know, I know, pics or it didn't happen so here you go:

If you are happy, that is what matters. Value wise, appears to be a sound trade as long as the front sight is not canted, and the rifle functions (assuming that it is Century ect...).

If the build is quality, you did very well.

Brand of AK?

I would not factor in the Rail system since it is a UTG. Figure it is worth whatever the scap value of aluminum is. Other than that it just depends on the quality of the AK and the number of rounds through each gun.

I'd personally put the wood furniture back on. But I personally don't like tacticool AK's.

Good deal if your happy with it... if not, trade it away and get something else... they are just guns. If your happy, its good.
