Picked up a mint Smith model 10-6 with an extra set of grips for $260.00 OTD.
Really thought I'd catch hell when I got home, got a break, the dog didn't say a word.

Well, since it's only Friday, I'm going back to last weekend.
Used S&W M638.
My re-introduction to j-frames, after a 5-6 year absence.
First shooting session Wednesday evening reminded me why I sold them all...but I'm going to try and work through that. ;)

None.

I went to a gun show Saturday.

And I found a beater 1917 Colt with rust, no lanyard loop, & a broken grip for $950.

And a real nice Colt Woodsman Target for $750, with no box or paperwork.
Both were way overpriced by about 50% to 150%.

Other then that, the show was full of overpriced Combat Tupperware and over-priced old junk guns.

I'll just leave them to folks that don't know any better.

I went out with the intent to buy a Ruger SR9c or Smith and Wesson M&P 40

went to three gun shops. Bass Pro hardly had any stock...and were more expensive than the next most expensive by $10 and more expensive than the least expensive by $40-$60. SR9c for $500 M&P 40 for $565 (yeah right Bass Pro)

The cheapest gun shop didn't have what I wanted, but their prices have gone up by $30 on most guns during the panic...I will just wait until the panic is over and hopefully prices drop. The M&Ps were $539 where they used to be $509. The only SR9c they had was $519, which was outrageous, but I could tell it was very different than the standard. I asked if it was a special edition and they said no, but when I got home I googled it and found out it is a Talo exclusive SR9c DLC. That shop normally sells the SR9c for $440.

The middle shop had TONS of inventory, and their normal prices...but were overpriced as always. $799 for Ruger SR1911s, $489 for SR9c, $554 for M&P 40

Beretta PX 4 storm 45acp. It complements my beretta px4 storm compact in 9mm, my everyday carry is a S&W 632-2 with no lock and night sights, and my S&W 632 carry comp pro.

Just bought today this pre-War FN 1922. My newest obsession - bought 2 WWII waffenamt marked ones last weekend.

sr9c from grabagun. Should be at my ffl by next weekend. Ive had good luck with grabagun, and I feel their prices are fair.

None.
Found a Colt New Service last week. It was marked as a 1950s Numrich .357 conversion.
Was supposedly a .455 originally.
Can't understand why anyone would convert one to .357, instead of .45 Colt or ACP.
It was loose as heck. It also didn't rotate the cylinder all the way to lockup, in DA or SA.
I can't help but think that .357 mag wasn't the ideal round to rechamber a revolver that old to.
