Now the only Glock I have is that black "glock" diagram mat I put down to clean my 1911's
Glocks are fine weapons, but I grew up accustomed to a 1911 and could never get comfortable to them. I did look at a used G34 that I may have to buy if I cannot find a 9MM 1911 platform. Too much stock of 9mm to try and run though a P08

Glock 17, and I got it right when they came in country(1986?)...Followed by
the 19, three G23's, two G26's, and a G36...I think that's it...Love 'em all...
Glock definitely sets the dependability standard...Best thing going...

I like 9mm and have traded higher priced guns away to get the Glocks. The may not be perfect but they work everytime.

i dont own a glock. i own a 1911 in .45 ACP. i guess you can get a glock in .45 but then you get a blocky glock. should just get a 1911.

i prefer the full-size frames. sold alot of them to fund other guns or hobbies.
while i still like my remaining Glocks, i'm preferring my 1911's more.
i can shoot both the 1911's and Glock well

My first pistol/firearm was a 3rd generation Glock 19 as had decided the 19 was a perfect blend of capacity and concealability.
Soon after I picked up a 34 for IDPA and USPSA practical shooting competition. Then came a 36 as a novelty and finally a 26.
Eventually I traded away the 34 for a compact CZ and the 36 for an SP-01 w/decocker.
For some reason I shot the 26 better than the 19.
I do plan to get another 34 in the future.
