For CMP yes. you need to fill out a few forms and provide proof of membership in a CMP affiliate organization, proof of some sort of firearms training or competition and a birth certificate proving age and citizenship. in return, they run your nics check and ship your rifle directly to your door, bypassing an ffl if all your paperwork is in order and your nics check comes back clean.
