What gun do you 'fondle' or dry fire the most? What gun do you shoot the most?

I don't really dry fire any of my
pistols much,they all get shot
enough to make up for it.I do
shot my 3" 65-3 the most,it's my
primary.Next is my new to me
makarov,i bought it last week and
i've put 500 rds thru it already.

Fondle: FrankenTula™, my 1938 Tula M91/30 'rescued' from Bubba's further tinkering. It's ugly, but accurate, and handy.

Shoot: My Yugo M59/66A1. It goes to the range every time, and gets a good workout either from me or my son. :)

Yes, I have since put the buttplate back on. ;)

By far my CZ 75BD. Something about the grip just melts with my hand. It's also the favorite at the range with my friends.

The HiPoint carbine is probably my most fun shooter. Sure got a workout today...

I'm a definite newbie compared to most around here, but clearly my Ruger MKII gets shot the most in terms of rounds/range-time. Fondling trophy probably goes to the S&W PC627-5 (stainless N-frame .357mag) but that's mainly just cuz it's my latest acquistion; it is more of a shooter to me than a safe queen, and is a lot of fun!

It varies, but lately the most handled and dry fired guns are:

-My Taurus 85CH. It is most accessable as it is always at hand and loaded (it is my "always" HD gun). It is already at hand (either near me when sleeping or in my pocket or holster when awake and at home 99% of the time) so all I have to do is open the cylinder and dump the rounds and I can dry fire all I want. Also, it has one sweet DAO trigger.

-My Taurus PT140 Millennium Pro. It is also always at hand as it is an "always" HD gun- it is nearby when sleeping and often in a holster around the house. Just drop the mag and remove the round from the chamber and I'm ready to go. It is also one of my current favorites and feels great in the hand so I like to handle it a lot.

-My Charles Daly 1911. If you own a 1911 you'll understand.

-My S&W 57, from the first year of production. If you own an N-frame you'll understand.

-My Winchester 94 in .45LC.

Wow, I didn't mean it that way, but the list came out pretty much in order. This group of guns gets handled several times more than the rest of my guns put together (heck the top three get handled around 2 times more than the rest of my guns put together).

Don't tell anybody, but I like to fondle my 7" Ruger Super BlackHawk. It's a .44 magnum. Stainless steel, sinlge action. I like to twirl it and rub it up and down. So cool to the touch, big hole......gotta go!

Colt 1911 and Taurus 85.
The 1911 because it is a 1911 and the .38 just because it is new and fun to fondle.

Which one do I shoot the most? The newest one.

Which do I fondle the most? The one(s) I haven't shot recently.

Both pictured here.

Fondle the most: Python
Shoot the most: Colt New Frontier, .22LR

Fondle, my Stevens 311 12g given to me by my granpappy long ago.

Dry fire and shoot is my Mitchell Trophy, with my Taurus PT145 close behind.

I fondle either of my new toys either my Glock 20 in my Safariland Paddle holster or My sig 226 (.357Sig) in its new Fist #14 just depends on how i feel when i wake up in the morning and get dressed.

Shoot most... Probably my S&W sigma in 9mm because my carry guns are to expensive to feed ....

Ruger super blackhawk, 44 mag, with a 5.5 inch barrel is my favorite.

The design of a single action is both comfortable to hold and use and it is also amazingly simple and robust. So dryfiring it is simple and enjoyable.

I carry it around my property for varmints and plinking and as I have managed to run some decent round counts through it I have managed to stretch the distances I can hit my targets at.

My glocks and double action revolvers sit in the safe and await the day I pull them out for their turn.

But for now single actions in 44 mag are doing everything I need them to do and I enjoy them so the rest are just stored in the safe and waiting.

I probably handle my CZ527 7.62X39 the most. It's so handy and ergonomic it seems to leap to my shoulder.

I caress my TRG21 like a lifelong trusted inamorata.

I shoot my ar15 and my usp45's.

the rest of them sit in the safe longing for attention.

Fondle and dry fire my carry guns the most, kahr p9 covert and glock 19, as they're always around and close at hand.

Lately my AK and 10/22 have had the highest round counts.

I guess it would be all of the ones I have. But I love single actions most. Just something about them that has always appealed to me. Lever guns next, and some mouse guns. ................Love'em all!.........MUTT
