Just wanted to know what gun lubricant everybody uses.

I personally use Rem-Oil as it gets into every little area.

Rem Oil for some stuff, and Berryhill Custom Ultimate Gun Lube for other stuff.

I just order UltLube from BarryhHill Custom LLC based on a thread I read here saying it was really great stuff. Have not yet received it. If it is as good as everyone said, I'll be going to that.

To be fair/complete, I don't think Mobil 1 works for everything, but I do think it works, and I'll use it for life. I use a lot of things though. Lithium grease, automotive high temperature wheel bearing grease, Hoppe's, and probably a handful more than I can remember right now.

Point being, there are a lot of good lubes out there that are not all designed for firearms.

I voted "other".

There's a little tub of RIG +P Stainless Steel lube that I've had since the early 90's.

It's been used on all my auto loaders and revolvers, and I still have half the tub left.

I'll try something else when either, I run out of it, or I start to have malfunctions with my guns.

In 15 or 16 years using this little tub, I haven't had one lube related malfunction.

I use Tri-flow to lube my firearms. Before that I used CLP, mobile 1 and chain saw oil. The only reason I switched was because I could not find CLP and the store I was at had tri-flow and no mobile one.

No preference really, I just use what is available.

I was abducted and brainwashed by the Mobil 1 cult.

same......so i voted other.

i use it for everything.

mobil1 motor oil on things that need oil.
mobil1 synthetic grease on everything that need grease
(including my 1944 springfield m1 garand, so needless to say, i really trust the stuff.

i use hoppes#9 also, but only for cleaning. not as a lubricant.

This should have been a multi-option poll.
I use CLP, FP-10, Rem Oil, Tetra Gun Grease on semi-auto rails, and WD-40.

Just kidding on the WD-40

I use Rem-oil, Break free and Mobil Synthetic Red Hi-temp grease. It depends on the application. Gun rails and inside the side plates on Revolvers I use the grease, Rem-oil on the outside for rust protection and on my pocket and hunting knives. Break free for the rest.
