What Happened to the Glock Web Site?

I know years ago I used to be able to go to that web site and see all the compensated models available. They were prominently displayed. I can't even find them on that web site any more. I wonder why Glock isn't promoting them on their site like before. Any idea why? The Glock style comp (such as on the 17c, 19c, 23c, ect.) is the only one I have experience with that I would recommend for self defense or duty use as it doesn't interfere with your night vision.

Thanks. Looking around some more just now I'm not seeing any Gen 4 normal C models for sale. This past weekend at a gun show I found only one Gen 3 Model 23C for sale and snatched it up as I've missed having one (had a Gen 2 Model 23C that someone offered me much more than I had paid for/still shouldn't have sold it). Wasn't a big deal for me as my department has transitioned from Gen 3 to Gen 4 Glock 17's and the interchangeable backstraps were not something I needed.

I think it was probably a miss in the communication between Glock Marketing and and the company doing the web site. There is a lot of social science going into the design of web sites and the layout en where what is displayed.

You could mail them and ask about it. Also maybe let them them know there are a couple of people looking for info on the compensated models.

Thanks for that. I didn't even think of looking at the European site. I'll mail them now. Maybe it is just some error.

They don't even list all their Gen 4 models yet, so I'm sure there are a few errors going on with their site. My guess is they're too busy catching up and getting my dang Gen 4 20 in my hands to worry about the site. lol

Probably just market factors. Call me jaded but I don't believe that the compensated models have ever been that popular with the public. Their site will typically showcase what sells the most.

First quarter of this year - around the time Ruger stopped taking new orders because demand was so high and they couldn't fulfill orders, Glock was rumored to be somewhere between 200,000 and 250,000 units behind in fulfilling orders and they were running production full-bore.

That doesn't have anything to do with their website design or content, but I doubt that just because you don't see the compensated models on the website that it's indicative that Glock is going down the tubes.

I don't see the 17L on their website, but I purchased one last year. Glock did a 1000 unit production run in June of last year. Five hundred came to the states and were snatched up in a matter of weeks. They were never even shown on the website...
