What have you done for 2A and RKBA lately?

Joined Concealed Campus chapter at my university, took a friend shooting, bought 1000 rounds of ammo, and went out on the opening day of dove season to exercise my right.

I became an endowment member of the NRA. I became an NRA recruiter. Sent some funds to NRA ILA. I expressed my views at a local town hall meeting with my congress critter. And a few other things.

Renewed my NRA membership the other day. Called Schmuck Schumers office and gave his intern on the other end of the phone an earfull.

The kids in my extended family consider me the "fun" uncle because I have a sense of humor and seem to do pretty well holding a conversation with them. Occasionally we talk about guns where I try to walk a fine line between sharing and preaching. It's a lot harder than it sounds. Fortunately, there aren't any die-hard antis in my family so I don't have to worry about getting lectured for presenting firearms in a positive light.

Oh, I also draw stuff. (See last link in sig line)

Got my granddaughter a...

Pink Cricket. I want her to remember always having guns around the house, like computers or televisions or any of that other stuff!

I visit different forms and argue anybody that speaks favorably of gun control. I provide all the information I can for anyone that's reading, in hopes that they'll investigate.

I work the VCDL booth at gun shows in Richmond, Harrisonburg, Fishersville, Waynesboro, Roanoke and a few in Chantilly, VA even though I live hours from some of those shows. I also attend VCDL events such as the now infamous "Blomberg Gun Give-away" and counter protests to the "Million (more like 32 if memory serves) Mom March's" appropriately named "lie In" and will be in Richmond the 21st for the "Lie In" scheduled at the general assembly. I also write my Senators and Reps on RKBA issues that come up. This year, I will rejoin the NRA and add my vote to those who are sick and tired of the direction it has been headed as of late. Change must come from within. If ya aren't a member, ya can't b!tch as they don't count you.

Joined the NRA last week and georgiacarry.org this weekend. Emailed my state representatives to ask them to support Georgia HB 915 which will clean up the convoluted carry mess in GA. Took all my kids (including my left wing daughter) to the range a few times over the holidays...

GOA member, NRA and SAF member soon.

Educate everybody I know about the 2ndA, it's purpose, and self-defense as a God-given human right.

This week..

Hosted a trap shooting fundraiser for a pro-gun Congressman, worked a gun show for 8 hours, and went pheasant hunting.

And finally joined the NRA as a life member. I could never afford it when the kids were at home and had an annual membership.

I exercised my rights and picked up a couple of handguns in January. Took a cousin from a very anti-gun household to the range for the second time, she's hooked.
