What if Hillary gets Dem nod for president?

You mean Hillary "I'm not running for President" Clinton?

I'm not sure what I'd to, other than be sick to my stomach at the thought.

I believe she is one of those people who wants no firearms in the hands of the common people. I also believe she would stop at nothing to make whatever she desires come true. A little thing like the Constitution would not stand in this creature's way.

If hillary get's the DNC nomination for Pres., I'd believe she'd do just about anything to win up to and including rigging the election in anyway possible. If she DID loose, she'd make algore look like a grasious looser. Heck, I wouldn't that be supprised if she staged a coup.

edited for spelling

Since part of Bill's campaign was "two for the price of one," can't we claim she already had her 8 years and is no longer eligible?

Go Hitlery! If we're lucky, we get some other demo to help split their party and our man can win.

4V50Gary, I agree, I think it would be the best thing to happen to the repubs. She draws some followers that make the coolaid creeps of Jim Jones look like fatuous teenage girls in boys town. She also has some incredible "negatives". It would definitely split the rats; energize the base conservatives and would push the undecided into the camp of whomever would be running against her. She is also not a very astute politician. This is why she refused to ever have a press conference where she had to answer questions. She is about as sharp as a sack of wet mice. Have you noticed the blunders she has committed since being in the Senate? Accusing G-Dub of masterminding the twin-towers tragedy; accusing the repub party of deep-seated racism; etc. The woman is as ate up as a football bat. :banghead: :cuss:

A decade or so ago, when Jessie Jackson was running for Pres., I convinced everyone in my family that were still registered as Dems to vote for him in the primary election. Reasoning being, if he got elected as the Dem. nominee in the primary, no way would he be elected Pres. :neener:

But, Hitlery scares me.:uhoh:

Who did kill Vince Foster?

I would have to leave the country if she were elected- maybe Alec Baldwin would let me have his place.:neener:

A well regulated "Who Killed Vince Foster" fan club, replete with tee-shirts, signage, handouts, well informed, literate and vocal, would do well to pop up in every major demo voting city as she appears to speak in her run for the office, neh? Expect the SS to run roughshod over ANY who appear to disagree with her. Patriot Act ya know.

Maybe a video clip or two of her highness' sneering face as GWB spoke during the aftermath of the 9-11 debacle could be re-run as needed as well.

But, remember this always; when she runs, she will win. No matter what the voters deliver (hanging chads or no). Kennedy had Daley and Chicago votes, Al Gore had confused FLA votes (Do NOT, Under Any Circumstances, count the Military absentee votes!).

I'd say it depends on how little Geo. does in his War (our war as well) and the related impact on the economy (It's the Economy, Stupid), that she'll need to weigh before making her move.

That being said, I also expect her loving husband to run for the UN Presidency (don't they always elect a socialist to that position?) with the reult being the Clintons running the world political scene, when they get the big international banking scene to back them.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Right now? In '04?

She'd get beaten like a drum. She doesn't have enough support ousite of super-liberal urban enclaves.

She's going to spend a term as a Senator trying to build up a rep as Serious Stateswoman and giving the old rep of First Shrew time to be forgotten.

I don't think she is a shrew. That sort of insults those tiny little creatures. I liken her to the Bride of the Frankenstein Monster.

If she ran, I wonder how many Democrats would be bothered by the fact that she promised to fulfill her senatorial term and then reneged so she could run for President. If she can't keep a documented and crystal clear promise to a State, would her followers wonder how she could keep a promise to a whole country?

Ben W.

Political promises don't count once elected into office, don'cha know? Its a, if not the, major rule of campaigning. Oh, right behind, get the money first.

If she gains the DemonicRAT nomination she'll lose the election because the people of the US, sheople they may be, aren't that stupid yet. While women may vote for her on the basis of her sex, men who haven't voted in decades will come out of the woodwork to vote against her in sheer disgust and terror.

And if she should win...

Well then I'll re-evaluate my Blue Helmet/Globalism won't-happen-in-my-lifetime opinion because that's what Hillary is all about. More likely though I expect to have to consider this after 2008. If Bill has managed to weasle his way in as SecGen of the UN by that time THEN I may really be worried.

If she should ever manage to get elected pray she doesn't have a Dem House and Senate to back her up. If so I can't even begin to imagine how fast freedom will end in this nation.

2nd,

Nah, If she IS elected, we'll just re-define freedom like the Pigs did in Animal Farm; you know, All animals are equal, just some are MORE equal than others.

Hey, wait-a-minute. We're already there.

I'm with 2nd Amendment.

IMO, if she does run, it will be the greatest political route since Mondale ran for president. She had national name recognition, but virtually no support outside of New York and California. The opposition would be massive. I would expect to see HUGE voter turnout just to vote against her.

She need to pull a page from the Nixon playbook, lay low for a decade and get her name on some popular legislation. Run as an ersatz moderate and count on the public's piss-poor long term memory to tone down her negatives.

I would walk a mile to vote against Hillary!!

"I'm not Hillary" will be the only platform her opponent will need!

Hilldebeast will wait for 2008 to run, assuming Bush wins re-election in 2004. If a Dem wins in 2004, then she'll wait for 2012.

Better to run for an open seat than against an incumbent in most cases.

It's simple. If she runs, she'll win because she won't run if she can't win. I despise her but would never underestimate her.
