I would personally never load with a powder I am not certain of what it is! Very, very dangerous ground to walk on here. And if someone gave me powder that isn't in it's original container and then tells me to play the, identify this powder game, no way. Something isn't right here.

I don't think that's what the OP said. He said the guy who gave him the powder also gave him load data from the factory. He said the person who gave him the powder didn't want to say what powder it was because he didn't want to get in trouble but if you show anyone who has used the powder before, they would know what it was right a way.

At least that's what I thought read in this thread.

Thanks for the concern, but all is good

Took the factory data he gave me and loaded low and worked back up. Data was good to go. Seeing lots of data now for the CSB-1 in 9mm. From what I see, it appears CSB-1 would be a better choice than CSB-5 for the 9mm.

Archangel, sorry for late follow up, but I now have about 3 pounds which is good for quite a while based on my 9mm shooting habits. About 4500-5000 rounds anyway.

Did anyone guess Aliant green_dot yet?

Bluedot has blue flakes in it... Red, red, green, green....

If not 110% sure, then spread it evenly over a lawn and water it in.
