What is the best self defense ammo for my ak pistol?

Obviously I don't wear a CCW badge. What's the point? I don't have a CCW permit. The handgun is larger and more visible than any badge I've ever seen. Tinfoil hat? No, but my passport is covered in tinfoil.

Cops don't shoot people with airsoft guns. If this handgun looks like an airsoft the cops won't shoot me.

I think Uncle Mikes makes a pocket holster for that. Size 13 I believe and its like 15 bucks.

Also make sure you load it with either the old 124 grn LSWCHP (KGB load) or the new Speer 124 grn +P short barrel load.

This is clearly a troll, that's airsoft, and TN has a Handgun Carry Permit, required for open and/or concealed carry.

Lock it and move on.

Use ice bullets for your carry AK pistol. They make 'em on Myth Busters. That's what I used when I was working in the CIA (whatever that stands for). :) But that was before the Borg.

Actually, I'm not sure which way to take it. It's not an airsoft gun, as no manufacturer that I know of makes an ak pistol with a semi-only receiver, but it's definitely an airsoft thread protector. If you're actually intending on carrying it, and I'm not saying you shouldn't per se, you need to get that tip off. I don't know for sure, but I'd bet there's some law on the books about making your firearm imitate toy weapons. Regardless, cops are already aware of people painting weapons with orange tips to mimic airsoft guns and if you're doing something illegal with it, the tip will not protect you in any capacity.

It isn't an airsoft, it is an actual Romanian Draco AK-47 with a real muzzle nut painted blaze orange. TN does have a carry permit system, not a CCW.
I am really looking for opinions on which ammo to carry in it.

If the tip won't make a cop think twice why do toys have orange tips mandated by federal law and why does CA ban real firearms which are painted orange and green?

Because the thugs started doing the exact same thing to try to fool the cops...

But seriously, for the ammo you need the

It's the kalashock ammo, look it up. I think it would be perfect for your application...

I painted the muzzle nut/thread protector "blaze orange" because I have safety in mind. It means no one can and will shoot at me.

:banghead:

You're an idiot. And if you are serious with this post I feel bad for those around you. You have safety in mind? And believe me, if you pointed that at me we'd have major issues, including that you'd have a gun drawn and trained on you in an instant.

This just f-ing infuriates me. I think you should be reported to the authorities, as you appear to be planning something.

According to TN State law I must be in fear of my life before I use deadly force. If I pointed the gun at you it was because you threatened me with deadly force and I have no choice but to defend myself. If I or someone else has a gun on you I seriously doubt you'd be able to draw and shoot before I got off a round or two.

Agreed.

Why are you lying?
You stated on glocktalk that this is an airsoft clone of the Romanian Draco AK pistol and you posted the same pic.

I think a two point sling is probably going to work out best. Anyone have any other ideas?
