What is the last gun that you bought?

Since my last post in this thread, a few years ago, I've managed to pick up another 12 gauge pump gun, 2 more AR's, another .22 rifle (got another kid now) and another 1911. And lots of ammo. I didn't enjoy the last shortage.

In just the last couple weeks I've bought a LCP custom, a XDm Competition 40, a Walther PPS 40, a Beretta bobcat 22 and a signature series 1851 Colt navy. In the process I sold my Talo Colt 1911, XSE commander, Browning 1911-22 and am selling my old second Gen LCP.

Don't worry 1911 guys I haven't gone all plastic I still have a dozen.

S&W 686+ .357 with a 3" barrel. Been carrying it every day since I got it a few weeks ago. 7-rounds of .357, nah I don't feel undergunned at all. Had my usual trigger job done to it.

It's on layaway. Not sure how long it will be there, but I'm happy to have found it.

1921, Parker Trojan, 12 ga, 28" barrels, choked modified and full. It's been refinished but the refinish appears to have been well done.

I've only got one crappy cell phone picture. Sorry.

I'm not real sure what I'm going to do with it, but I've wanted a Parker since I was a kid, and my grandfather had one.

Zastava M57A. 7.62x25. Had to get it after shooting my TT33 Tokarev. Love the round. Hope this one shoots as well. Put the aftermarket grips on it as well.

I shot it this last week, and although it failed to feed a few times, it did well.
It carries well in a slider leather holster.
How long of a break in period (# of rds.) is recommended for the SCCY CXP-2 considered for "broken in"?
Do you think I should do some emery cloth work on the slide / frame contact areas, or should I return it to SCCY under their warranty ?

What next ?:scrutiny:
Give it some more rounds downrange and see how it does. Maybe another 100 rounds.

If you can consistently get issues, send her in to get checked out. Perhaps see if he issue lies with one of the mags instead of the pistol itself, or if the issue is with the first/last round or some other commonality. That can help with them diagnosing the issue, if you have more details.

Ruger LCR 38spl+P. Very pleased with it. I did not have a handgun well suited to concealed carry, so this fills my last niche.

Bought a Ruger mk3 target with the wrap around wood target grips and a 5.5" barrel. Installed a volquartsen mk2 trigger kit to get rid of the mag safety the day I picked it up. Also grabbed a red dot for NRA bullseye. Right now it's sitting with irons as I have an international pistol match this weekend.

Zastava M92, with 5 BHO magazines, soft case, single point sling adaptor plate and a few other goodies,$450.00 FTF via armslist.com.

Picked up a Marlin 338mx a few weeks ago. Also have a COP .357 4-shot derringer on a 60 day lay-away.

I was at an estate auction about 5 years ago and one of those COP guns came up and I had never heard of one. It went for a couple hundred bucks. I looked it up when I got home and kicked myself.

Red Hawk

My last gun was a 454 Casull Ruger Red Hawk. I Sold a Tarus Raging Bull that was for crap. The Red Hawk is Great.

A Smith & Wesson 19-4. Has pinned bbl and recessed cylinder... a joy to behold. I picked it up last fall as an early Christmas present. Just got back from our 3rd range outing together. I'm in love :D

Sweet ... I want a pirate gun like that, but every one I see is more than what I want to spend on one! Usually waaaay more  go figure.

I bought a 50 caliber "kit" gun that took the edge off of the desire and I've shot it a couple times but like most go my toys, it just sits on the shelf ... It's one of the few guns I don't have in the safe.

I posted this in the black powder forum, but why not here also.

It's a reproduction of a Charleville M1777 in .69 cal. Navy Arms, among others, imported these from 1970's through the 1990's, but they are no longer made, and I haven't seen one for sale in a long time. The originals along with the Charleville musket were imported into the US by the French to aid the colonials in the American revolution

I spotted this one at a gun show about a month ago. It was dirty with a dusting of surface rust, so I got the guy down to $130. It cleaned up to look almost new.

Added to collection...

Local gun dealer (salesman, actually) got a Colt Model M in trade. He was waiting for me. He baited me in by showing me the pistol.

In the words of Flip Wilson, "The debbil made me buy dis gun!"

Very light wear, bore looks new. Going to range to shoot it for accuracy this afternoon.

Having camera problems. No photos yet.
