What is the last gun that you bought?

Yesterday, all my trouble seemed so far away..................

Went to a small local gun show in a Shriner Club without any great expectations, returned with a GP100.

And, did I mention it to joe bidet and camel hair?

NO Paperwork/trail.

Another win for the good guys and it'll make my boys proud owners once I am keeling over.

Just snagged a brand new Sig P320 M17 with 3 Mags. Been looking for a bit, locally these are in short supply, my gun shops wont wont even order one for me. Unfortunately I cant get over to pick it till this weekend :(

A Ruger PC Charger pistol, and a folding brace. Unfortunately, the pistol isn't even here yet and I took the brace ice fishing. That brace fit down a 4" hole pretty readily when I dropped it....

Kimber custom tactical hd 45 acp. First 1911. I like it. It’s accurate and smooth. I was having a minor issue bumping the slide stop during multi shot drills but I adjusted and no more issue. At first I thought I was having a ftf but upon closer examination it was op error. Whew. Much rather be me than the gun

Very nice! Does your bride have access to this account? If so - your promise is appreciated I'm sure. If not...no reason to BS us, Brother! We all have the habit. You tell the story and we'll swear to it.
Im single and no kids. But I need to recover from last years spending spree

Ruger SR22. I love the gun looks, and have owned two previously. It's kind of a love/hate relationship, so currently it's a love.

Received a North American Arms "Sheriff" in .22WMR a couple of days ago. It's a 2.5-inch-barreled SA revolver on their "Earl" frame, with boot grips, and actual rear sight groove, and an octagonal barrel. I bought it as a tractor/trail gun, and mostly because I like the name (though it's not embossed anywhere on the gun.) I haven't tried it out yet, though.

Just kidding !!!!

I posted about winning this in an auction at the end of October and received it rather quickly in early November. It's a model 1896 Krag made in early 1897. The bore is shiny with lots of rifling left. There's also quite a bit of original bluing on the barrel and other parts. The stock has been refinished at some point so the cartouche and the circle P proof stamp are faint but readable in strong light. The auction house description mentioned that it was associated with I company of the 4th Volunteer infantry. There was nothing supporting this that came with the rifle. I called the auction house asking about this and they just said they got it from the consigner.

However, later another member of the Colt forum found this exact reference in the "Krag Rifle Story" book by Mallory. This gives provenance to use either in Cuba or later in the Philippines. Sometimes one just gets lucky.

Here it is with a Spanish American war haversack with the original leather sling and an 1895 dated bayonet attached to an original Spaulding 60 round cartridge belt. The belt was actually designed for use by mounted troops hence the saber hang ring. The canteen is a repro.

love the legal, private sale of toys, Without a trace, and as always, cash is king

Sweet little 45, shot so far only a box through it and it seems to be a little tack driver.
Not quite as smooth as my trusty SIG 1911 GSR, but we'll get there eventually.

And always keep in mind, have a few friends who do not own guns, but have property.
It'll help you when biden's incoming ""rear admiral"" (pun intended) is looking for them......, but cannot find it.

My last gun bought was this HK VP-9. Wife gets her Walther Q5 Saturday.View attachment 971419

Are these two guns really that different? Seems to me the efficient decision would have been to buy two of the same gun so you can consolidate magazines.

But then again, your money and your call. Just curious what caused you guys to go this route. Not trying to second guess your opinions, just understand them. I agree they are both excellent pistols.
