And I liked it so much I got to post in the "What's the next gun you're going to buy?" thread, too: SP101 .357.

This is my first wheel gun, Quite a bit of prior experience with semi-autos (1911, H&K USPc & Walther PPS), and those are all great.

But picking up my first wheel gun after that has sort of re-invigorated my enthusiasm for shooting. Kind of like Range Viagra.

I don't know that it is going to change my first choice in CCW in the city (the PPS) or open carry in the woods on foot (H&K USPc); but this is defnitely my first choice for the trail on horseback; and I'm having a ton of fun with it at the range here in town.

well the last gun i bought was actually guns (plural).

went on vacation to phoenix for the 4th of july weekend and picked up the following:

tikka t3 lite in .270
H&R single shot .20ga (for the kids)
Springfield/Stevens single shot .22 (for the kids) plus it has a threaded barrel and i am gonna use it to to a little rat shooting iwth a one of my can's on it

and last was my best purchase of the weekend. A mint conditon k31 no import marks all matching would pass for new (not one of the ratty ones that we are seeing as of late) only thing is no tag under the buttplate, so maybe it was unissued?? i would maybe say unissed since it looks fired very little by previous owner, is near perfect condition and no tag. anyway i got a great deal on it and it will be stay with me for a long time.
