police trade in Beretta 92, dao with houge grips.
Picked up a Mossberg 500C for skeet the other week. I am digging the 20ga recoil after 50 shots! I am looking at a couple more, a MAS 36 sporter conversion (but I have enough bolt actions) and another Mossy 500A which will become the HD gun replacing the Mossy 535 with it's loooong barrel

Kind of embarassing
I have a decent aray of various weapons but the last rifle I bought was a Hi Point 995 9mm carbine when they first came out and was able to pickup a new one for $125. The rifle is butt ugly but the first generation rifle does pack a recoil kick, that's why I like the new generation with a more tactical looking stock and it has a piston recoil pad. Can't beat the warranty. Will be interesting to see if they actually come out with .45 caliber carbine in August. It's not high on my list of priorities but might consider if it good reviews. I think I'd rather have another AK or a Draco.

Don't be embarrassed. The Hi Point 995 Carbine is a decent little rifle!...
Ive shot one and it worked well and was a lot of fun. Last i knew they didn't have high cap magazines. Has that changed? If they had 20-30rd mags id buy one.

A Yugo SKS, new, un-issued, Sweet piece! super well made, very very accurate, specially in single shot mode, plus it can launch a grenade, how cool is that!. 7.62x39mm is cheap. What's not to love.
