I bought my wife one of those Hong Kong C&E marked Model 10-7 Smiths. 4" tapered barrel, fixed sights, finish a little rough, but mechanically perfect and shoots right to POA with 158 gr loads.

Colt M1911 replica... for my newborn son to inherit. :)

I got a .40 cal. CZ RAMI. As soon as I am comfortable with it, the
stainless steel PPK will be semi-retired, and the Rami will become the
number one concealed-carry weapon.

Charles Daly EMS 4" .45 in mid-November

Despite the spotty reputation, decided to give it a shot for $375 and so far have been glad I did (great trigger, very accurate, no malfs through 500 rds)

I bought a used Win 1300 Defender 12ga on New Year's Day for $225 - looks like it's never been shot.

Was fairly proud of that find...

I got an el cheapo Liberty Arms .38 spcl revolver! I paid $85 for it. It looks like a Colt Detective and S&W mod 36 hybrid . Despite the poor finish and heavy trigger, It works! :)

The last handgun I bought last year (2004) was a Comanche III .357 magnum. This revolver is marketed through SGS-Firestorm, and made in Argentina. The one I bought was blue steel with a 3" barrel.

Unfortunately, I fell on a period of little cash at a time when I needed more in order to feed my family, so I sold it. It was sort of a shame really. For a cheap gun, it wasn't too bad. It had a decent finish to it, and was not a bad shooter.

Another Taurus

Well, my final firearm for 2004 was the Taurus PT940SSPRL, picked up on the day before Christmas, as it were. It's my second .40 caliber by Taurus. I've only fired 50 rounds through the pipe, so far. But, it shoots well. I'll have to put a lot more rounds through it, to really wring it out.

I can always use the practice. I've already ordered a nice holster for it. I'll
be looking forward to getting that holster, as I'm making this one my CCW.

Stay safe & aim true.... Skipper from Tulsa....
