What is the last handgun you got in 2004?

SIG P220ST.

Bought new in late November. My first centerfire autoloader. Been to the range thrice with it so far and it's a nice pistol. Shoots low with vanilla 230 ball; shoots hollowpoints with some heat behind 'em to point of aim. Good trigger in both DA and SA.

It was a Taurus 905, 9mm revolver, great for CCW.

Ended the year in the market for a Glock. Just have to decide which one and pay for it.

Brass Balls, if I carried it, yes I'd carry it C&L.

My brother carries his RAP440 that way.

It is a nice little pistol, however the 401 and 440 share magazines. This causes a little problem for the 401 if you also have a 440 because I think the .40 stretches out the feed lips on the magazine and creates double feeds when you put them back in the 401.

Since I got this gun from my brother, he used both .40 and 9mm in the same mags so I need to get a more reliable mag before I'd carry this gun (or pound on the feed lips until I get this one to feed right). Plus I only have 1 mag and I like to pack a spare.

But with a good magazine I wouldn't hesitate to carry the RAP ... its a great little pistol.

S&W 642 that I am going to get a 940 cylinder (on order now) and have it fitted to make a 942... Practice with 38s and powder puff 9mms and shoot a cylinder full of regular 9mm 124sgrs carry ammo for POI/POA chack each year. It should be a great carry gun. Carry lots and shoot little, Practice with others.

Stainless Ruger Mark II with a four-inch barrel. Picked it up on the 31st of December. Took off the stock upper and replaced it with a Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite threaded for a suppressor.

Taurus 455 Ti from CDNN. It's on closeout and the price was going up. Wanted a gun in that configuration and it looked like my last chance to get it.

Titanium 5 shot .45 ACP 4" barrel with fixed sights and no ports. No body else makes one. It was a little rough when I got it but it's pretty decent now. The crane is still a bit tight, even after completely disassembling the gun, cleaning, and lubing with moly. I'm guessing it will wear in eventually and loosen up.

It's really light making it a bit challenging to shoot but easy to carry. It's also regulated for 185 grain bullets making 230 gr shoot quite a bit high in the light gun. It's rated for +P ammo but the bullets pull on my +P spec reloads. Normal pressure loads seem fine with it. I might have to try some +P factory before I make a final judgement on it.

R9s

That's right - the King of the hill of pocket guns. The Rohrbaugh 9mm. Pricey - but carries well, shoots with precision, and is always, always, there!

Just another .45 Colt

A stainless, enhanced Govt Model - - Don't know the exact model number. It appears to be predecessor to the current XSE. Has angled slide serrations in rear but none in front, and the flat, solid rib atop the slide. A rather homely beavertail grip safety. Came with Colt medallion rubber stocks, since replaced with dark, checked wood.

I was shopping for a GI-type a few months ago, but ran across this one and "rescued" it from a pawn shop at a decent price. A man should be able to get along with two or three 1911s, but you hate to ignore an orphan . . . .

Best,
Johnny

Even though I swore I wouldn't have another Glock, I bought a G26. Know what? I kind of like the darn thing.

Well i bought one on December 31st but i haven't got to pick it up yet. Stupid waiting periods.

It's a Rossi 2" blued .357 magnum. I saw it, it looked good and the action felt fairly smooth. The price was right so i figured what the heck, i'll add it to my snubby collection.
