^ Huh, FreedomFreak! I'm in the same boat. In cooler weather I usually carry a Smith 340 Airweight in my right hand coat pocket for instant access, with a 1911 crossdraw at 9 or 10 o'clock.
So my primary self-defense firearm is a little .38 +P and my "backup" gun is a honkin' .45.
Kind of a reversal there, huh?
I stick a .25 ACP in my robe pocket when I'm taking out the trash at night, so I guess you could call that my "minimum," but it's not for everyday carry. Maybe you could call it "everynight" carry, though.
