Ok, I actually did see that once before when researching XDs... but I didn't know that they were ever imported to the US. Interesting, thank you for the quick response.

SOG has had them for a while. From the reports I've heard they're historically pretty interesting, but they had function problems. These seem like something that should definitely be C&R due to the historical story behind them, but oh well. If they ever make that I'll probably by one, but I'm not bothering with a full FFL transfer for one (not really an issue of money, but just of time).

Looks like it might be based off the P-38 and Beretta designs.

Anyone know if they do use the same system?

I have one.



As you can see it was made in CROATIA. It's a rather strange mixture of the P-38 and Beretta.

It looks like the gun was hand fitted with the liberal use of files.

I bought it just because it was so strange.

It functions OK and is reasonably accurate.
