I seems like a lot of you do the same thing I do with the 1lb and 4/8lb cans like I said in the 3rd post. It does make the it easier to handle in small cans but you still can get the savings of buying in bulk.
8lb jug of the stuff I know works (right now I have an 8lb jug of 748 for my rifles and an 8lb jug of Red Dot for my pistols); it is more economical. 1lb container for experiments. Not sure what the 4lb containers are for.
I only reload .40 and .45 and I use TiteGroup for both of them. It takes a while to empty the powder hoppers on my Dillons so 8 lb jugs work well with me. My bench is in the cellar and I store the powder upstairs out of harms way. Whenever I start a reloading session I check my powder level and if needed I top the hopper off. Takes a lot of rounds before I need a refill.
