Bullseye was the standard military & match ammo powder for about half a century.

I use nothing but Unique.

W-231 is also very good.

Another vote for W231/HP38 - meters very well and produces accurate loads. I use 5.0 gr for 200/230 gr SWC/RN bullets.

For lighter recoiling plinking loads, Promo/Red Dot - doesn't meter as well but still produces accurate loads. I use 4.0 gr for 200/230 gr SWC/RN bullets.

Unique.

But I haven't tried most of the other powders listed in the thread. Maybe I'm missing out!

Favorite 45 ACP Powder

Tried several Powders for 45ACP over the years.
American Select was introduced to me for Loading 45 Colts by another SASS Cowboy few years back.
Burned Clean,Dropped Great and was easy to predict.
Worked up a Power Floor in AS to duplicate my old Titegroup Load and have been there ever since.

I use Bullseye. It is accurate, cheap, and meters perfectly. I have also used Unique with excellent results but doesn't meter as well. Win 231 is also a good powder.

Bullseye, N310, N320, N340, AA #2, AA #5, WST, & W231 have all proven to shoot well for me in one app or another.

Folks are telling you right, if you are shooting lead, W-231 is a great powder to start with.

HP-38/Win231 for my 200gr SWC's. I used to go through about 24 lbs. a year. I've since slowed down considerably.

Also like Titegroup with my 230gr Hornady XTP's.

I shot nothing but W-231 and lead for years as well. Try some N340 with those 230 Gr XTP's. It is superb for that.

I use W-231 and AA#5 for 45acp.
At first I used Bullseye and Unique.
I tried AA#5 as a replacement for Unique, #5 meters better for me and burns cleaner.
