Greeting's All-

Well, I know this has probably been cussed and
discussed many, many times in a variety of ways;
but I'm wondering what is YOUR favorite SIG-Sauer
handgun? Please state the model number and the
caliber of YOUR choice:

*Your vote takes into consideration the various
models of the P220 and the P226; such as the
"ST" variations.

THIS POLL IS FOR THE "P-SERIES" CLASSIC MODEL'S ONLY!

P220ST is my favorite autochucking handgun period.

Although I am quite smitten with my latest SIG a P229 two tone in .40. I voted for the 220 but I like em all.

Chris

I know that some people don't like plastic, but I love my SP2340.

Light, accurate and easy to carry.

Bob Sigmon

Oops - Didn't notice P- stipulation.

Seems someone has "Plastic Blindness" - where's the SP2340.

Doesn't concern me unduly though, because when SiG made the P239 in 9mm they created the best there ever was, is, or will be.

It's also the best looking with the possible exception of a stainless P232.

An old West German made P226 in 9mm. My first handgun ever, and still the one that gets the most use.

Its still the gun I enjoy shooting the most.

BTW, Ala Dan, let me guess, your favorite is a P220 in .45, right?

Adam

My all time favorite is the P228 in 9mm. There is something about that gun that just "feels" right.

But since I just scored a West German, all original P226 and 3 15 rd. mags it is my current favorite.:D

Ah, you missed one there, chief.

I like my 225, but would part with it instantly for a 210.

Unless you really did mean "Sig-Sauer", but aren't the guns now "Sigarms"?

My first major-caliber handgun was a Sig 228...and it remains my favorite Sig. But then again, I've never used a 210.

The only Sigs I've ever shot was 220's, 239's, 245's and I think a 226.

I liked the 220 best but the 239 with Harts compensator was pretty sweet too. The 245 seemed to shoot real low.

If they ever open a plant here in the states, I'll probably get a 220ST.

Since it is the only Sig I own it has to be my SP2340 in 357Sig. Not enamored with it enough to get another one although I honestly have to say I've never fired or handled any other models.

p220 st.

my choice. i'll try to post a pic, but i got a dual rig sob twin p220st setup.

did that make sense?...

BTW... john woo copied me. except he chose an inferior weapon.

OT, but I just have to tell someone who'd understand.

A gun store here in Albuquerque (Peterson's) is having their 35th anniversary sale. I talked to the manager yesterday, and he told me that he had a number of 220s, used but in great shape, with the Siglite night sights and two mags for $460.

The thing is, I just don't need one. Man, though, that is one heck of a deal. It is KILLING me that I'm not buying one. I just don't need one, though, and I don't have five extra bills lying around.

AAAARRRRGHH! :banghead:

Oh, and I like the 210 [drool . . . but can't justify the cost] the best, followed by the 225.

It starts with a "P", and is definitely a classic, so I'd have to say the SIG P210. Of course, that's SIG-Neuhausen, not SigSauer. :D

Of those silly double-action jobs made of stamped soda cans, I'd say the P225.

Hello Again Everyone-

Adam: You could not be more correct, as the .45
caliber P220A is MY favorite! I just returned from a trip
into the "ghetto"; and guess what I was carrying IWB?

Self Proclaimed Expert: Dang it, my mistake as I
did overlook the P210!:uhoh: I guess cuz, I have never
shot one; muchless owned one!:D Yes, SIG firearms
coming out of the facility in Exeter, NH are known as
"SIGARMS"; but I prefer 'em West German SIG-Sauer's.

SIG-Sauer "Classic P-series" self-loader's stand in a class
by themselves; therefore the "Drastic Plastic" SIG
Pro series was omitted.

Folk's maybe I'm blind, but I can't see a bad SIG P-series
handgun in the poll!:) :uhoh:

Best Wishes,
