What Is Your Most Expensive Gun?

I'm 16 so $225 for a FEG 9mm Hipower no pictures cause no camera I prefer to spend what little money I have on guns!

Most expensive price wise would have to be the S&W model 629 I bought, it had a really neat looking custom grip (some odd orange wood) and a really unusual trigger. It was used, barely, and a friend's dad bought it new at some gun dealer where he lived for a while. It had the name of the gunsmith who did the work on it. I paid $600 for it, shot it once with a friend, who instantly offered me 850 for it, and I took it. He still has it, and I still regret selling it.

Most expensive time wise would have to be the horrible little FTL Auto Nine, or "Auto One" as I called it after it blew the extractor on the first shot. There's one on one of the auction sites right now. Between the trips back and forth to the manufacturer and the high price it cost back then, it was a real dud. The Beretta 950 Jetfire I replaced it with was about the same price and will soon be 27 years old, and has had zero problems.

My most expensive would probably be my Springfield Armory Loaded chambered in 9mm. Paid 519 for it used. It was one of the best purchases that I have made, as it runs like a top.

Algonquian Indian Flintlock

But could be Mohegan or Iroquois. From mid 1700's. Perhaps Hudson Bay trade gun that was "customized." That's the story my grandfather told. Wood still highly polished.. fish, bird and bear silver inlay figures along the barrel. Remarkable quality for the age. Walnut with brass buttplate. Was inherited and have no precise idea of it's worth, but have been offered high 4 figures by collectors.

Do antiques count?

I have a cased pair of ivory-stocked Queen Ann dueling pistols that I inherited...

For a guy with short arms and deep pockets.....

I have to admit my most expensive is a Benneli Montefeltro. I paid no where near retail for it as it was used slightly and my brother gave it to me for the trade price $550 not the retail price so...It would be the most expensive to replace though.

I guess it's my Wilson Stealth Lightweight (alloy frame)

(not mine, but similar, same grips but mine's ALL black)

A S&W 327 TRR8 I dragged home today for $999.00. *** was I thinking? Kool gun, though. Can't wait to shoot it...

A Savage Fox Sterlingworth Deluxe in 20ga in 99% condition, with the original box and documentation. My grandmother's old "Stupid dang squirrels, this'll teach 'em to leave the bird feeders alone" gun. Grandma had GOOD taste in shotguns. :D

My favorite and most expensive gun so far is my Nazi marked P.38 with matching numbers and it great condition. Nothing peened out, and it shoots like a dream. Paid $425, probably worth a little more by now.

My second favorite and most expensive is my M1 Garand. Decent condition and no matching numbers. Again, $425.
