what kind of holster for CCW?

I really like that set up savage260. where do you get a holster like that? I have mostly only seen outside the belt holsters. and BSA1 how is it a waste of money to get a CC permit? I CAN'T carry at work so there is nothing I can do about that. I doubt I will ever be saying "I wish I hadn't got my conceal carry permit dang it".

That is the Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake with the optional IWB straps. I love mine have two, one for my 686 3 inch and one for my Ruger Alaskan 44 mag. This holster can also be carried OWB Anne cross draw.

I agree you will need a good belt. But unless you are a really small guy or have a big waist, you can conceal a GP100. I wear a Crossbreed clone and carry a GP100 all day and I am in and out of a vehicle, bending and squatting all day with no problems. Lots of good holster recommendations. You can carry a large revolver.
