What other forums do you read?

It would be ridiculous of us not to acknowledge the wealth of information available at other online forums.

For me, I try to read the Brian Enos forum, Colorado ar15, and Sniper's Hide at least a couple times a week. Back when I shot bullseye, I found much good information and helpful people at Target Talk.

I've also seen some extremely in depth and well-thought out information at m4carbine.net as well.

Larry is absolutely right. Discussions about other forums are fine here. The only thing we have a problem with is people who choose to air grievances about other forums here. If you have an issue with another board, that's something you need to take up with them, or you should choose to man up and find another board. Going to another forum and complaining is absolutetly not taking the high road.

I don't think it is bad form at all...providing you aren't trashing the other forums, trying to start a competition or forum war.

To do otherwise makes it seem like an overpossessive spouse.

You really want people to ONLY talk guns on ONE forum? B.S.

I swing by ARFCOM only on the weekends, I know Glocktalk is a popular shooter forum. Both of these sound like specialty forums but they are not. Now, CZForum and Rugerforum, those are brand specific. There are a ton of other gun specific or brand specific boards out there too.

I go to MNGUNTALK for local stuff, sometimes swing by TwinCitiesCarry, but the guy who runs that has developed some real ego issues and causes a lot of problems on other gun boards. Most states have state specific gunboards, probably the most well known and most visited by out-of-staters is CALGUNS (California) and PAFOA (Pennslyvania firearms owners association)

There are also ''mission" forums like Opencarry.org

I spend time on WeTheArmed, I believe TheFiringLine is back up.

This is my favorite gun forum site. I hit it daily. I also check out Defensivecarry and Opencarry about once or twice a week. I'm actually a car forum junkie, such as Performanceyears.com and Moparts.

24hourcampfire.com
thefiringline.com
Saubier.com
204ruger.com
longrangehunting.com
specialty pistols
accuratereloading.com
refugeforums.com

Each has active forums in different disciplines that interest me.

I have seen threads similar to this before. Personally I like TheHighRoad because it covers a lot of ground on so many different topics. I do find it helpful though to seek out the forums for the different manufacturers.
I like rugerforum.com, ktog.org (for KelTec), DanWessonForum.com, XDTalk.com.
For local stuff in GA I check georgiapacking.org , GeorgiaOutdoorNewsForum.

Thanks to everyone for posting, i really like looking in different sources for information. And if i find a good source i like to share it I didn't realize there were so many forums that i've never heard of. Again thanks for sharing

THR
CMP Forums
Shootertalk
....and in the past several defunct forums which, despite great members and informative firearms discussion, came unglued when unregulated political warfare became personal, divisive, and destructive.

The high road is definitely the road to take.
