What percentage of people who badmouth a particular gun actually ever shot it?

I think this is true for a LOT of firearms problems not just accuracy problems.

that is frustrating

No matter how we attempt to be precise in our language sometimes people read something else.

For instance, I have never been able to shoot a PPK well and have said so.
I have been quoted as saying that the PPK is not accurate.

Makes you want to yell "DUDE...THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID"

I voted "all are telling the god honest truth" because you glean what you need from the posts anyway. Me, personally I only comment on guns I have shot myself.

Wadr - There's a tremendous amount of speculation involved in the poll as stated. If badmouthing guns that I haven't shot would be a bad thing, then this poll is asking me to do something equally bad....guess at others' experience, honesty, motivation.
There is a common danger in responding to polls - most that I have seen are way, way too general. An accurate answer to a question like "What's the best 9mm pistol for self defense? or "What's the best .22 rifle for under $400?" requires that the respondee have experience with every gun of the type specified, otherwise their information is secondhand at best.

If I shot a firearm and liked it, I will let you know.
If I fired a firearm and didn't like it, I will let you know.
If I haven't fired a particular firearm and have no direct experience with the gun, I will generally refrain from posting an opinion.
That's how we roll here.

i know its on the higher end of the scale, between this forum and the car forums im on its just funny how many "experts" there are on the internet. its funny how many people bad mouth a product that they have never shot litalone held in their own hands.

i guess im the oddball that got all the non-lemon guns because my carry guns are 2 of the most bad mouthed on this forum, a S&W Sigma 40VE and a Taurus PT1911. both have been %100 reliable and more accurate then myself. so for me its more of a comedy skit to read all the "problems" people have with them.
