What Redding Powder Measure is this?

Well, the Redding catalog item number for the Model 3 with both Metering Chambers is 03200.

Mid-South item number is 076-03200.

SO, I'd say it's a Model 3 with both metering chambers.

Looks like the guy who wrote the MS add typed "Master Catalog" so many times he couldn't get stopped typing "Master Model Measure Meter"!

Thanks. rcmodel, nice detective work with that item # search. One would think I could have put that together myself.

So, compared to the Redding 3br what are the significant differences with these two measures? Right off the top of my head I believe the baffle isn't with the Model 3. And are the significant differences going to really gain another $50 in function/accuracy?

All I can see for sure in the photo's is a step up in mounting brackets, and the addition of a .25 cent powder baffle as you go up the food chain.

But it could be more then that.
I just don't know.

That's the latest rendition of the original Master measure. Don't know how long one will last...yet. Been using mine since '65, still going strong. And it's dumped more than a few pounds of powder through that drum.

I have the Redding 10X model and recently bought a spare micrometer from Midway for $10. I don't need it but it was on sale and usually costs $43 so I had to buy it. I could always set each one to a favorite load and switch them around as necessary. Anyway, Redding provides some useful information on their various powder measures here ...
