In all seriousness I would have to agree with others that toss a vote out for 10mm. I really would like to see how my Glock 29 would compare against my Sig P239 (.40S&W) or any of my .45ACPs.
I'd actually like to see exactly what the +P loaded MagSafe Defender 7.62x25 Tokarev round would do. Odd little thing, THEIR website shows it having the velocity of a rifle round out of a Tok pistol, but I'm still not convinced of the power of pellet-loaded prefragmented ammo. It's just that the combination of THAT speed and that design, (rather than the Tok round's chance of overpenetration) who knows?
Their website claims 2,120fps/519 ft-lbs from a Tok pistol. I'd want to see, IF that is true, what that'd do.
10mm sounds like a lot of fun, but I still would need a gun and ammo. I choose to test the .44 Special, in part, because the ballistics appear to be simlar to a factory 10mm ...
I'm personally disappointed that we weren't given the opportunity to vote for the 5.5mm Velo Dog cartridge with a variety of custom ammo. How about a lathe-turned solid impervium boattail hollow point? And a frangible load (melt the lead out of Hornet bullets and replaced it with #12 shot in Teflon solution.)
