What should I buy?

You seem to like shorter barrels, the new Ruger SR-22 strikes me as a very complementry gun to your existing collection and it'll (eventually) be cheap to feed. I was also fondling a 2.5" 686+ and a 5" 686+ today that would be very nice additions.

Adp, from the diversity of your modest collection so far it seems that you're in this for the sport of shooting to at least some degree. As such I'd suggest that you look around at the competitions held by the clubs in your area and attend a few as a spectator/helper. Check out the IPSC, IDPA, Cowboy Action and Steel Challenge options. You may well find that something "clicks" with you in terms of one or more of these sporting events which will lead to an obvious next handgun.

If it's an event that suggests a semi auto be sure you get one which has a ready supply of magazines or speed loaders.

Don't look at the matches as being a chance to suck compared to others. Instead go into them with the idea that you are your only competition. The idea is to get better at both accuracy as well as speed. And speed in terms of both shifting sight picture between targets as well as in reloading when needed. The only result you want to see at the end of the day is that you did better than the last time out. Keep that up and sooner or later you'll find that you're well up in the standings.

You'll also meet a great bunch of folks that share your love of firearms.

Or if you simply can't see doing this at the moment due to circumstances then I'd say get a 1911 in .45acp. THen instead of the next gun use the money to get a reloading setup running. You'll soon save so much on ammo costs that you'll be able to buy new guns or more ammo supplies on a more frequent basis.... well, you will once the current panic buying/hoarding nonsense sorts itself out.
