for an average 10 shot grouping with Federal XM193CBP 55 gr fmj 5.56x45 fired out of a Rock River Arms Predator Pursuit (20 inch beavy barrel with 1 in 8 twist) using a scope when fired as fast as one can realign the scope to the center dot on the target at 100 yards.

I shot two such groups and managed right at about 1.6 moa according to On target software... The rock river is my first AR and today was my first experience shooting an AR, so I am curious to hear what I should expect from this combo. I would guess with hand loads or some more expensive ammo and a little time to breath between shots would tighten this up, but heck when new to the AR platform quick follow up shots are part of the fun when compared to my bolt actions!

You might try taking your time and shoot for accuracy. You may get 1/2 to 3/4 groups. I think you are getting exactly what you and the rifle are capable of. You could get better, or not.................

wow, .5 to .75 with 10 shots of bulk ammo (assuming the shooter/gun is up to it)? :what:

I think I am going to like these ARs. :D

You're never gonna get that rifles true potential with the cheapo stuff. With good ammo I would expect .5 inch groups if you are up to it. With the cheap stuff, it could vary. If your rifle likes it, how much variation is in the ammo ballistics round to round, etc...

A 1.6 inch group rapid fire with bulk ammo aint bad though. I bet with proper technique you would be down around the 1 inch mark.
