I am picking my Ruger LCP up tomorrow and I want to start carrying it ASAP. I want to get the holster while I am at the store. Most say that the Uncle Mike's Pocket holster #2 is the correct size. But the Dasanti Nemesis seems to be the same size as the Uncle Mike's #1 and the Blackhawk that Ruger has on their website looks exactly like the Uncle Mike's #1. (I prefer the Uncle Mikes over the Nemesis because I like that the the barrel end is closed; delaying lint build-up in the barrel.)

Does anyone know if the Uncles Mike's #1 pocket holster will fit properly (covering the trigger)? I am especially interested in those who know from experince, but all input is welcome.

Yes, #2 is correct.

The problem I had with that Uncle Mikes holster is that every time I pulled the gun from my pocket, the holster would stick to the gun and come out with the gun!

I ended up getting Robert Mika pocket holsters for everything.

Be prepared to wait about four months, as he is really backlogged, but it is definately WORTH THE WAIT!

I carry my Kel Tec 380 and 32 in a Number 1. Its a little tight and will stretch slightly with use till just right I used to have set up to carry a spare mag Still have one in 32 that way.

Heavyshooter, I also encourage you to go with a Mika. Although I didn't know he was that backlogged. A four-month wait is just too long. But what I predict will happen is that you will wind up with a Mika anyway. I have a feeling you'll use your Uncle Mikes for awhile and find that it presents with the pistol when you go to draw... or (as did mine) the holster will twist while in your pocket and you'll find that your trigger becomes exposed and accessible in a way you find unacceptably risky. I wish you well

My local gun shop had a #1 and a #3. The #3 was too loose so I bought the #1. There is just a tiny amount of the trigger guard left uncovered. It does print some in thin (LL Bean) jeans.
