I have over two thousand rounds through 5 different magazines for my Glock 30 (.45 cal) and CANNOT put in (or JAM in) a 10th round? I called Glock customer service and they said to send the mags back "we will take care of it".
I guess it's off to UPS.
has anyone heard of a problem with these mag's?

I have also heard that Glock is NO longer making 9 round mags for this pistol.
anyone else?

I have problems with the post '94 castrated mags for my 21. The tenth round will go in but it is extremely tight. Also with the slide closed it is difficult to get the mag to lock in place.

You may try filing some material off the bottom of the follower to make space for the tenth round.

I will try that on my 21 mags, but until then they are 9 round range mags. I have several 13 round mags for serious purposes.

I used to have a similar problem w/ my Glock pistols. It was just a matter of breaking in the springs....loading in as many rounds as possible & letting it sit like that for a while, then jamming in the last round & let it sit some more.
Good luck w/ the factory!

Glock used to put extra space in the mag so that the spring was not completely compressed. This makes it work better. I don't have time right here to go into the physics of it, but it is necessary. However, it was found that you could stuff 11 rounds into some of Glock's 10 round mags!! The BATF probably made them hack a couple of coils off the mag spring!!

Do the "glock stomp"

Load 9 them smack the base on something firm

Then load the 10th round

As stated before ...the 10 round limit has made mags less dependable...and less forgiving.

You may also experience problems seating a mag with 10 rounds if you have one in the chamber
