What to put on my new lower??

I happen to get a lower parts kit from my neighbor (DPMS) as well as a Roggio Arsenal lower and a Tapco 6 position stock. He needed some $$ real fast so I got it pretty cheap(under $200)

Not sure what upper to get for it? I already have a Rock River AR. I was thinking maybe a full 22 upper or another 5.56/223 .. I have plenty of 5.56/223 plus as soon as I can find primers I have 5k bullets and brass to reload.

Maybe a 5.45 upper if one can find one?

Who makes a inexpensive 5.56/223 upper?

I wouldn't spend to much on the upper, but Cchaper Than Dirt (I think) sell DPMS 16" A3 uppers for $500, which isn't bad.

While the 5.7 round is a very neat round. It is not very cheap..

I think I will try to find a inexpensive upper 5.56/223 so I can take it to the river bottoms and not worry too much about it..

For my money, I steer clear of Model 1 Sales. Their product has been suspect in the past, and their customer service stinks. Del-ton uppers got a positive writeup in SWAT magazine this month.
